Ingredients
- •4 corn cobs, husked
- •2 tbsp olive oil
- •1 tsp smoked paprika
- •1/2 tsp garlic powder
- •1/2 tsp ground cumin
- •1/2 tsp kosher salt
- •1 lime, cut into wedges
- •1/4 cup Parmesan cheese, finely grated
- •2 tbsp fresh cilantro, chopped
Directions
- 1Stand each corn cob upright on a stable cutting board and carefully cut lengthwise into quarters using a heavy, sharp knife.
- 2Toss the corn ribs with olive oil, smoked paprika, garlic powder, cumin, and salt until every cut surface is coated.
- 3Preheat the air fryer to 400°F (205°C) for 3 minutes before adding the seasoned corn ribs.
- 4Arrange half the corn ribs in one layer and air fry 10–12 minutes, turning after 6 minutes, until browned and curling.
- 5Repeat with the remaining corn ribs; do not stack them because the cut sides need direct airflow.
- 6Finish the hot corn with lime, Parmesan, and cilantro before serving.
💡 The hardest part is cutting the cobs safely; use fresh, tender corn and a stable board, and never force a dull knife through the core.
