Ingredients
- •12 oz fresh green beans, trimmed
- •1 egg
- •1 tsp Dijon mustard
- •3/4 cup panko breadcrumbs
- •1/3 cup Parmesan cheese, finely grated
- •1/2 tsp garlic powder
- •1/4 tsp black pepper
- •as needed olive oil spray
Directions
- 1Pat the green beans completely dry and whisk the egg with Dijon mustard in a shallow bowl.
- 2Combine panko, Parmesan, garlic powder, and black pepper in a second bowl.
- 3Coat the beans in egg mixture, then press them into the crumb mixture until lightly covered.
- 4Preheat the air fryer to 390°F (200°C) for 3 minutes and spray the basket.
- 5Arrange half the panko-coated green beans in one layer and air fry 7–9 minutes; shake after 5 minutes, until crisp and browned.
- 6Repeat with the remaining beans and serve while the coating is crisp.
💡 Choose slender beans of similar thickness; very thick beans can stay raw-tasting inside by the time the Parmesan crumb is fully browned.
