Air Fryer Salmon Bites

Tender, flaky cubes of salmon with a sweet-savoury soy-honey glaze that caramelizes beautifully in the air fryer in under 15 minutes. Pile them over rice or salad greens for a lightning-fast weeknight dinner.

⏱ 20 minServes 4American

Ingredients

  • 1½ lb skinless salmon fillets, cut into 1½-inch cubes
  • 3 tbsp soy sauce
  • 2 tbsp liquid honey
  • 1 tbsp sesame oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp fresh ginger, grated
  • 1 tsp sriracha
  • 1 tbsp sesame seeds
  • 2 green onions, sliced

Directions

  1. 1Whisk together soy sauce, honey, sesame oil, garlic, ginger, and sriracha in a bowl.
  2. 2Add salmon cubes and toss gently to coat; let marinate for 5 minutes.
  3. 3Preheat air fryer to 200°C (400°F) for 3 minutes.
  4. 4Arrange salmon cubes in a single layer in the basket, reserving any excess marinade.
  5. 5Air fry for 7–8 minutes, shaking the basket halfway, until lightly caramelized and cooked through.
  6. 6Brush with reserved marinade, sprinkle with sesame seeds and green onions, and serve over steamed rice.

💡 Use centre-cut salmon for uniform cubes that cook evenly. For a gluten-free version, swap soy sauce for tamari or coconut aminos, widely available at most Canadian grocery stores.
