Ingredients
- •12 oz refrigerated cheese ravioli
- •1/2 cup buttermilk
- •1 cup Italian-seasoned breadcrumbs
- •1/4 cup Parmesan cheese, finely grated
- •1/2 tsp garlic powder
- •as needed neutral oil spray
- •1 cup marinara sauce, warmed
Directions
- 1Bring a pot of water to a gentle boil and cook the ravioli for 2 minutes only; drain and cool until easy to handle.
- 2Pour buttermilk into one bowl and combine breadcrumbs, Parmesan, and garlic powder in another.
- 3Dip each ravioli in buttermilk, then coat both sides firmly with seasoned breadcrumbs.
- 4Preheat the air fryer to 390°F (200°C) for 3 minutes and spray the basket before adding the breadcrumb-coated ravioli.
- 5Arrange half the ravioli in one layer and air fry 7–9 minutes, turning after 5 minutes, until the coating is crisp.
- 6Repeat with the remaining ravioli and serve with warm marinara sauce as a dip.
💡 The brief par-cook keeps refrigerated ravioli tender inside without making the pasta too soft to bread; fully cooked ravioli can split during coating.
