Albóndigas en Salsa

Ingredients
- •1 lb ground beef
- •1/2 cup breadcrumbs
- •1 egg
- •1/4 cup milk
- •1/2 teaspoon salt
- •1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- •2 tablespoons olive oil
- •1 onion diced
- •4 cloves garlic, minced
- •1 can (28 oz) crushed tomatoes
- •1 cup beef broth
- •1 teaspoon cumin
Directions
- 1Mix ground beef, breadcrumbs, egg, milk, salt, and pepper in a bowl, then form into 16-20 meatballs.
- 2Heat olive oil in a large pot over medium-high heat and brown meatballs on all sides, about 8 minutes total; remove and set aside.
- 3In the same pot, sauté diced onion until softened, about 3 minutes, then add minced garlic and cook for 1 minute.
- 4Stir in crushed tomatoes, beef broth, and cumin, bring to a simmer.
- 5Return meatballs to the pot and simmer for 20-25 minutes until sauce thickens and meatballs are cooked through.
- 6Taste and adjust seasonings as needed before serving.
