⏱ 15 minServes 2American

Ingredients

  • 4 slices bread (sourdough or whole wheat)
  • 6 oz brie cheese
  • 1 medium apple, thinly sliced
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 2 tablespoons butter, softened
  • 1 teaspoon fresh thyme leaves
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper

  2. 2Butter one side of each bread slice and place two slices butter-side down in a skillet over medium heat.
  3. 3Layer half the brie on each bread slice, then top with apple slices, drizzle with honey, and sprinkle with thyme, salt, and pepper.
  4. 4Place the remaining bread slices on top, butter-side up, and cook until golden brown, about 3-4 minutes.
  5. 5Carefully flip the sandwiches and cook the other side until golden and the cheese is melted, about 3 minutes more.
  6. 6Remove from heat, let cool for 1 minute, and serve warm.
