Apple and Brie Grilled Cheese
A gourmet twist on a classic sandwich with melted brie, crisp apples, and a hint of honey between toasted bread.

Ingredients
- •4 slices bread (sourdough or whole wheat)
- •6 oz brie cheese
- •1 medium apple, thinly sliced
- •2 tablespoons honey
- •2 tablespoons butter, softened
- •1 teaspoon fresh thyme leaves
- •1/4 teaspoon salt
- •1/4 teaspoon black pepper
Directions
- 1Slice the brie into thin pieces and thinly slice the apple.
- 2Butter one side of each bread slice and place two slices butter-side down in a skillet over medium heat.
- 3Layer half the brie on each bread slice, then top with apple slices, drizzle with honey, and sprinkle with thyme, salt, and pepper.
- 4Place the remaining bread slices on top, butter-side up, and cook until golden brown, about 3-4 minutes.
- 5Carefully flip the sandwiches and cook the other side until golden and the cheese is melted, about 3 minutes more.
- 6Remove from heat, let cool for 1 minute, and serve warm.
