Apple Pie Bars

Ingredients
- •2 cups all-purpose flour
- •1 cup old-fashioned rolled oats
- •1 cup butter, softened
- •1 cup brown sugar
- •6 medium apples, peeled and sliced
- •1/2 cup granulated sugar
- •2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
- •1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- •1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg
- •1 tablespoon lemon juice
Directions
- 1Preheat oven to 350°F and grease a 9x13 inch baking pan.
- 2Mix 2 cups flour, oats, softened butter, and brown sugar until crumbly; press half the mixture into the prepared pan.
- 3Combine sliced apples with granulated sugar, 2 tablespoons flour, cinnamon, nutmeg, and lemon juice; spread over the crust.
- 4Sprinkle remaining oat mixture evenly over the apples and press gently.
- 5Bake for 35-40 minutes until the topping is golden brown and apples are tender.
- 6Cool completely in the pan before cutting into squares and serving.
