Ingredients
- •2 cups all-purpose flour
- •1 1/2 cups unsweetened applesauce
- •1 cup granulated sugar
- •1/2 cup vegetable oil
- •2 large eggs
- •1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- •1 1/2 teaspoons baking soda
- •1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- •1/2 teaspoon ground nutmeg
- •1/4 teaspoon ground cloves
- •1/2 teaspoon salt
- •1/2 cup chopped walnuts
Directions
- 1Preheat oven to 350°F and grease a 9x13 inch baking pan.
- 2Whisk together flour, baking soda, cinnamon, nutmeg, cloves, and salt in a large bowl.
- 3In another bowl, combine applesauce, sugar, oil, eggs, and vanilla extract until well blended.
- 4Fold wet ingredients into dry ingredients until just combined, then stir in walnuts.
- 5Pour batter into prepared pan and bake for 35-40 minutes until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
- 6Cool in pan for 10 minutes, then turn out onto a wire rack to cool completely.
