Asian Lettuce Wraps with Ground Pork

Ingredients
- •1 lb ground pork
- •1 head butter lettuce or iceberg lettuce
- •1 can (8 oz) water chestnuts, drained and diced
- •4 green onions, chopped
- •3 tbsp soy sauce
- •1 tbsp sesame oil
- •2 cloves garlic, minced
- •1 tbsp ginger, grated
- •2 tbsp hoisin sauce
- •1 tbsp rice vinegar
- •1 jalapeño, minced (optional)
Directions
- 1Heat sesame oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat and cook minced garlic and ginger for 30 seconds until fragrant.
- 2Add ground pork and cook, breaking it up with a spoon, until browned (about 5-7 minutes).
- 3Stir in soy sauce, hoisin sauce, and rice vinegar, then add diced water chestnuts and cook for 2 minutes.
- 4Remove from heat and stir in green onions and jalapeño if using.
- 5Separate lettuce leaves and arrange on a serving platter.
- 6Spoon the warm pork mixture into individual lettuce leaves and serve immediately, allowing guests to wrap their own.
