Bacon Butty
A classic British breakfast sandwich with crispy bacon, melted butter, and a hint of ketchup between toasted bread.

Ingredients
- •4 slices streaky bacon
- •2 slices white or brown bread
- •1 tablespoon butter
- •1 tablespoon ketchup or brown sauce
- •pinch salt
- •pinch black pepper
Directions
- 1Heat a frying pan over medium-high heat and cook the bacon slices until crispy, about 5-7 minutes.
- 2While the bacon cooks, lightly toast the bread slices until golden brown.
- 3Butter both slices of toasted bread generously.
- 4Spread ketchup or brown sauce on one slice of bread.
- 5Layer the crispy bacon on top of the sauce.
- 6Top with the other buttered slice of bread and press gently together.
- 7Cut diagonally if desired and serve immediately while hot.
