Ingredients

  • 1 pound bacon strips
  • 24 whole pitted dates
  • 1 cup cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup almonds, finely chopped
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/4 teaspoon sea salt
  • 1/8 teaspoon cayenne pepper

Directions

  1. 1Preheat oven to 400°F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. 2Mix softened cream cheese with chopped almonds, vanilla extract, salt, and cayenne pepper in a small bowl.
  3. 3Stuff each date with about 1 teaspoon of the cream cheese mixture.
  4. 4Wrap each stuffed date with half a strip of bacon, securing the end with a toothpick if needed.
  5. 5Arrange wrapped dates on the prepared baking sheet and bake for 15-18 minutes until bacon is crispy.
  6. 6Let cool for 2 minutes before serving warm or at room temperature.
