Directions
- 1Mix graham cracker crumbs with melted butter and 2 tablespoons sugar, press into a 9-inch pie dish, and bake at 350°F for 8 minutes until golden. Cool completely.
- 2Combine milk, 3/4 cup sugar, cornstarch, and salt in a saucepan; heat over medium, stirring constantly until thickened, about 8-10 minutes.
- 3Whisk egg yolks in a bowl, slowly add hot mixture while whisking, then return to saucepan and cook for 1 minute. Remove from heat and stir in butter and vanilla.
- 4Pour custard into cooled crust and refrigerate for 1 hour until set.
- 5Slice bananas and arrange over custard filling.
- 6Top with whipped cream and serve chilled, or refrigerate up to 2 hours before serving.
