Bangers and Mash
Juicy pork sausages served over creamy mashed potatoes with rich onion gravy.

Ingredients
- •8 pork sausages
- •2 lbs potatoes, peeled and cubed
- •4 tbsp butter
- •1/4 cup milk
- •2 large onions, sliced
- •2 tbsp olive oil
- •1 tbsp flour
- •1 cup beef stock
- •1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
- •to taste salt and black pepper
Directions
- 1Boil potatoes in salted water for 15-18 minutes until tender, then drain and mash with butter and milk until smooth.
- 2Meanwhile, heat olive oil in a large skillet and cook sausages over medium heat for 15 minutes, turning occasionally, until golden and cooked through.
- 3In another pan, sauté sliced onions in butter until caramelized, about 10 minutes.
- 4Sprinkle flour over onions and stir for 1 minute, then add beef stock and Worcestershire sauce, simmering for 5 minutes until thickened.
- 5Season mashed potatoes and gravy with salt and pepper to taste.
- 6Divide mashed potatoes among plates, top with sausages, and pour onion gravy over everything.
