Ingredients

  • 3 racks pork back ribs
  • 2 tbsp brown sugar
  • 1 tbsp smoked paprika
  • 2 tsp garlic powder
  • 2 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp black pepper
  • 1 1/2 cups barbecue sauce

Directions

  1. 1Heat the oven to 300°F (150°C).
  2. 2Remove the membrane from the back of each rib rack.
  3. 3Mix brown sugar, paprika, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper and rub over the ribs.
  4. 4Wrap tightly in foil and bake for 2 1/4 hours until tender.
  5. 5Unwrap, brush generously with barbecue sauce, and raise the oven to 450°F (230°C).
  6. 6Roast 8–10 minutes until the glaze bubbles and caramelizes.
  7. 7Rest for 10 minutes before cutting between the bones.

💡 Cook until tender before glazing; sauce added too early can burn long before the ribs soften.
