Ingredients
- •3 racks pork back ribs
- •2 tbsp brown sugar
- •1 tbsp smoked paprika
- •2 tsp garlic powder
- •2 tsp salt
- •1 tsp black pepper
- •1 1/2 cups barbecue sauce
Directions
- 1Heat the oven to 300°F (150°C).
- 2Remove the membrane from the back of each rib rack.
- 3Mix brown sugar, paprika, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper and rub over the ribs.
- 4Wrap tightly in foil and bake for 2 1/4 hours until tender.
- 5Unwrap, brush generously with barbecue sauce, and raise the oven to 450°F (230°C).
- 6Roast 8–10 minutes until the glaze bubbles and caramelizes.
- 7Rest for 10 minutes before cutting between the bones.
💡 Cook until tender before glazing; sauce added too early can burn long before the ribs soften.
