Beef and Bell Pepper Stir-Fry

Ingredients

  • 1 lb beef sirloin, thinly sliced
  • 2 medium bell peppers (red and yellow), cut into strips
  • 1 medium onion, sliced
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 3 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon oyster sauce
  • 1 teaspoon sesame oil
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch
  • ½ cup beef broth
  • 1 teaspoon ginger, minced
  • 2 green onions, chopped

Directions

  1. 1Toss beef with cornstarch and set aside for 10 minutes.
  2. 2Heat 1 tablespoon oil in a wok or large skillet over high heat and stir-fry beef until browned, then remove and set aside.
  3. 3Add remaining oil and stir-fry garlic and ginger for 30 seconds until fragrant.
  4. 4Add bell peppers and onion, stir-fry for 3-4 minutes until tender-crisp.
  5. 5Return beef to the pan and add soy sauce, oyster sauce, sesame oil, and broth.
  6. 6Toss everything together for 1-2 minutes until sauce is heated through and coats the ingredients.
  7. 7Garnish with green onions and serve immediately over steamed rice.
