Beef and Broccoli
Tender beef and crisp broccoli tossed in a savory soy-ginger sauce over steaming rice.

Ingredients
- •1.5 lbs beef sirloin, sliced thin
- •4 cups fresh broccoli florets
- •1/4 cup soy sauce
- •2 tbsp cornstarch
- •3 cloves garlic, minced
- •1 tbsp fresh ginger, minced
- •2 tbsp vegetable oil
- •1 cup beef broth
- •1 tbsp brown sugar
- •1 tsp sesame oil
Directions
- 1Toss sliced beef with cornstarch and half the soy sauce; let sit 10 minutes.
- 2Heat 1 tbsp oil in a large skillet over high heat and cook beef until browned, about 4 minutes; remove and set aside.
- 3Add remaining oil to skillet, stir-fry broccoli for 3-4 minutes until tender-crisp; add garlic and ginger, cook 30 seconds.
- 4Return beef to skillet and add broth, remaining soy sauce, brown sugar, and sesame oil.
- 5Simmer 2-3 minutes until sauce thickens and coats the beef and broccoli.
- 6Serve immediately over steamed rice.
