Beef Burger Steak
Juicy ground beef patties seared to perfection and topped with caramelized onions and melted cheese for a satisfying dinner.

Ingredients
- •2 lbs ground beef
- •1 teaspoon salt
- •1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- •2 tablespoons butter
- •2 large onions, sliced
- •4 slices cheddar cheese
- •1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
- •1/4 cup beef broth
Directions
- 1Divide ground beef into 4 portions and form into thick patties about 1 inch thick. Season generously with salt and pepper.
- 2Heat 1 tablespoon of butter in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Cook patties 4-5 minutes per side until browned. Remove and set aside.
- 3In the same skillet, melt remaining butter and add sliced onions. Cook 8-10 minutes, stirring occasionally, until golden and caramelized.
- 4Return patties to the skillet, top each with cheese, and add beef broth and Worcestershire sauce to the pan.
- 5Cover and simmer for 3-4 minutes until cheese melts and patties are cooked through, spooning onions and pan sauce over top.
