Beef Nachos

Crispy tortilla chips loaded with seasoned ground beef, melted cheese, and all your favorite toppings.

Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 packet taco seasoning
  • 10 ounces tortilla chips
  • 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1 cup salsa
  • 1 jalapeño, sliced
  • 1/4 cup fresh cilantro, chopped
  • 1 lime

Directions

  1. 1Brown the ground beef in a large skillet over medium-high heat, breaking it apart as it cooks, about 5-7 minutes. Drain excess fat.
  2. 2Stir in the taco seasoning with 1/4 cup water and simmer for 2 minutes until thickened.
  3. 3Spread tortilla chips on a large baking sheet or serving platter.
  4. 4Top chips with seasoned beef and sprinkle shredded cheddar cheese evenly over everything.
  5. 5Broil on high for 2-3 minutes until cheese is melted and bubbly.
  6. 6Remove from heat and top with dollops of sour cream, salsa, jalapeños, and cilantro.
  7. 7Squeeze fresh lime juice over the nachos and serve immediately.
