Beef Suya
Spiced grilled beef skewers with a savory peanut crust that's crispy on the outside and tender inside.

Ingredients
- •2 lbs beef sirloin, cut into 1-inch cubes
- •1 cup roasted peanuts, finely ground
- •2 tablespoons paprika
- •1 tablespoon cayenne pepper
- •2 teaspoons garlic powder
- •1 teaspoon ground ginger
- •1 teaspoon salt
- •½ teaspoon black pepper
- •3 tablespoons vegetable oil
- •2 tablespoons butter, melted
- •1 teaspoon onion powder
Directions
- 1Soak wooden skewers in water for 30 minutes, then thread beef cubes onto skewers.
- 2Mix ground peanuts, paprika, cayenne, garlic powder, ginger, onion powder, salt, and black pepper in a shallow dish.
- 3Brush beef skewers with oil and melted butter on all sides.
- 4Roll coated skewers in the peanut spice mixture, pressing gently so it adheres to the meat.
- 5Heat a grill or grill pan over high heat until very hot.
- 6Grill skewers for 8-10 minutes, turning every 2 minutes, until beef is cooked through and the peanut crust is golden and slightly charred.
- 7Remove from heat and let rest for 2 minutes before serving with sliced onions and tomatoes.
