Beef Tacos

Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 packet taco seasoning
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 8 flour or corn tortillas
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 2 cups shredded lettuce
  • 1 medium tomato, diced
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 1/2 cup salsa

Directions

  1. 1Brown the ground beef in a large skillet over medium-high heat, breaking it apart as it cooks, about 5 minutes.
  2. 2Drain excess fat, then add taco seasoning and water to the beef and simmer for 3 minutes.
  3. 3Warm the tortillas in a dry skillet or over a gas flame for about 30 seconds per side.
  4. 4Assemble tacos by placing seasoned beef in each tortilla and topping with cheese, lettuce, tomato, sour cream, and salsa.
