Beef with Oyster Sauce

Ingredients
- •1 lb beef sirloin or flank steak, thinly sliced
- •3 tbsp oyster sauce
- •2 tbsp soy sauce
- •1 tbsp cornstarch
- •2 cloves garlic, minced
- •1 tbsp ginger, minced
- •2 cups broccoli florets
- •1 medium onion, sliced
- •3 tbsp vegetable oil
- •1/2 cup beef broth
- •1 tsp sesame oil
- •1/4 tsp white pepper
Directions
- 1Mix beef with cornstarch, soy sauce, and white pepper in a bowl; let sit for 5 minutes.
- 2Heat 2 tbsp oil in a wok or large skillet over high heat and cook beef in batches until browned, about 2 minutes per batch; set aside.
- 3Add remaining oil to the pan and stir-fry garlic and ginger for 30 seconds until fragrant.
- 4Add onion and broccoli, stir-fry for 3-4 minutes until vegetables are tender-crisp.
- 5Return beef to the pan and add oyster sauce, beef broth, and sesame oil; stir well.
- 6Simmer for 2-3 minutes until sauce thickens and coats the beef and vegetables.
- 7Serve immediately over steamed rice.
