Black Bean Sauce Fish

Ingredients
- •1.5 lbs white fish fillets (cod or sea bass)
- •3 tablespoons fermented black beans
- •3 cloves garlic, minced
- •1 tablespoon ginger, minced
- •2 tablespoons soy sauce
- •1 tablespoon oyster sauce
- •1 teaspoon sesame oil
- •1/2 cup chicken broth
- •1 tablespoon cornstarch
- •2 green onions, sliced
- •2 tablespoons vegetable oil
- •Salt and white pepper to taste seasoning
Directions
- 1Rinse fermented black beans and coarsely chop them with minced garlic and ginger.
- 2Mix soy sauce, oyster sauce, sesame oil, and chicken broth in a bowl. Dissolve cornstarch in 2 tablespoons water and add to the mixture.
- 3Pat fish fillets dry and season lightly with salt and white pepper.
- 4Heat vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat and pan-fry fish for 4-5 minutes per side until cooked through. Transfer to a serving plate.
- 5In the same skillet, stir-fry the black bean mixture for 1 minute until fragrant.
- 6Pour the sauce mixture into the skillet and stir constantly for 2-3 minutes until thickened.
- 7Pour the black bean sauce over the cooked fish and garnish with sliced green onions.
