Blackberry Bars
Buttery shortbread crust topped with a tangy-sweet blackberry filling and crumb topping.

Ingredients
- •1 cup all-purpose flour
- •1/2 cup butter, softened
- •1/4 cup granulated sugar
- •2 cups fresh blackberries
- •1/2 cup blackberry jam
- •1/4 cup brown sugar
- •1/2 cup rolled oats
- •1/4 cup melted butter
- •1/4 teaspoon salt
Directions
- 1Preheat oven to 350°F and line a 9x9 inch baking pan with parchment paper.
- 2Mix 1 cup flour, 1/2 cup softened butter, and 1/4 cup granulated sugar until crumbly. Press into the bottom of the prepared pan.
- 3Bake crust for 10 minutes until lightly golden.
- 4Spread blackberry jam over the warm crust, then scatter fresh blackberries on top.
- 5In a bowl, combine 1/2 cup brown sugar, 1/2 cup oats, 1 cup flour, and salt. Stir in 1/4 cup melted butter until combined.
- 6Sprinkle the crumb topping evenly over the blackberries.
- 7Bake for 20-25 minutes until the topping is golden brown.
- 8Cool completely before cutting into 12 bars.
