Ingredients

  • 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 2 teaspoons paprika
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon dried thyme
  • 1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 2 large flour tortillas
  • 1/2 cup sour cream or ranch dressing
  • 1 cup shredded lettuce
  • 1 tomato, sliced
  • 1/2 red bell pepper, sliced

Directions

  1. 1Mix paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, thyme, and cayenne pepper in a small bowl to create the blackening spice blend.
  2. 2Pat chicken breasts dry and coat both sides generously with the spice mixture.
  3. 3Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat and cook the seasoned chicken for 6-7 minutes per side until cooked through and blackened.
  4. 4Remove chicken from skillet and let rest for 2 minutes, then slice into strips.
  5. 5Warm the tortillas in the microwave or skillet for 30 seconds.
  6. 6Spread sour cream or ranch dressing on each tortilla, then layer with lettuce, tomato, bell pepper, and blackened chicken strips.
  7. 7Roll up the wraps tightly, cut in half if desired, and serve immediately.
