Blueberry Scones

Ingredients
- •2 cups all-purpose flour
- •1/4 cup sugar
- •2 teaspoons baking powder
- •1/2 teaspoon salt
- •6 tablespoons cold butter, cubed
- •1 cup fresh blueberries
- •1/2 cup milk
- •1 egg
- •1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Directions
- 1Preheat oven to 400°F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- 2Mix flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt in a large bowl.
- 3Cut in cold butter until mixture resembles coarse breadcrumbs.
- 4Gently fold in blueberries, then whisk together milk, egg, and vanilla, then fold into dry ingredients until just combined.
- 5Turn dough onto a floured surface, shape into a 1-inch thick disk, and cut into 8 wedges.
- 6Place scones on baking sheet and bake for 12-15 minutes until golden brown.
- 7Cool on wire rack and serve warm with clotted cream and jam.
