Breaded Shrimp

Ingredients
- •1 pound large shrimp, peeled and deveined
- •1 cup all-purpose flour
- •2 eggs
- •1 cup panko breadcrumbs
- •1 teaspoon salt
- •½ teaspoon black pepper
- •½ teaspoon garlic powder
- •2 cups vegetable oil for frying
Directions
- 1Pat shrimp dry with paper towels and season with salt and pepper.
- 2Set up three shallow bowls: one with flour, one with beaten eggs, and one with panko breadcrumbs mixed with garlic powder.
- 3Coat each shrimp in flour, shaking off excess, then dip in egg, and finally coat thoroughly with panko mixture.
- 4Heat oil in a deep skillet over medium-high heat until it reaches 350°F (175°C).
- 5Fry shrimp in batches for 2-3 minutes until golden brown, turning halfway through.
- 6Remove shrimp with a slotted spoon and drain on paper towels.
- 7Serve immediately with cocktail sauce, tartar sauce, or lemon wedges.
