Ingredients

- •1/2 cup chopped nuts (walnuts or pecans)
Directions
- 1Heat butter in a saucepan over medium heat, stirring occasionally until it turns golden brown with a nutty aroma, about 8-10 minutes. Pour into a bowl and cool completely.
- 2Mix cooled brown butter with both sugars until combined. Beat in egg and vanilla extract until well incorporated.
- 3In another bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, and salt. Fold dry ingredients into wet mixture until just combined. Stir in nuts.
- 4Drop spoonfuls of dough onto parchment-lined baking sheets, spacing them 2 inches apart.
- 5Bake at 350°F for 10-12 minutes until golden brown around the edges.
