Ingredients

  • 3/4 cup butter
  • 3/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1/3 cup maple syrup
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 2 cups flour
  • 1/2 tsp baking soda
  • 1 cup pecans, toasted and chopped

Directions

  1. 1Brown butter in a saucepan until nutty and amber; cool 10 minutes.
  2. 2Whisk brown sugar, maple syrup, egg, and vanilla into butter.
  3. 3Fold in flour and baking soda, then stir in pecans.
  4. 4Scoop dough onto lined baking sheets and chill 10 minutes.
