Buñuelos
Golden, crispy fried dough puffs coated in cinnamon sugar and served with chocolate sauce for dipping.

Ingredients
- •1 cup water
- •1/2 cup butter
- •1/4 teaspoon salt
- •1 cup all-purpose flour
- •2 tablespoons granulated sugar
- •1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- •oil for frying vegetable oil
- •1/4 cup cinnamon sugar coating
Directions
- 1In a pot, combine water, butter, and salt. Bring to a boil over medium heat.
- 2Remove from heat and stir in flour until a thick dough forms.
- 3Heat oil in a deep pan to 375°F (190°C).
- 4Drop spoonfuls of dough into the hot oil and fry until golden brown on all sides, about 2-3 minutes per batch.
- 5Remove buñuelos with a slotted spoon and drain on paper towels.
- 6Mix granulated sugar and ground cinnamon together, then coat warm buñuelos generously.
- 7Serve immediately with hot chocolate sauce for dipping.
