Ingredients

  • 2 lbs large shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 8 cloves garlic, minced
  • 6 tablespoons butter
  • 3 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1/2 cup dry white wine
  • 2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
  • 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped

Directions

  1. 1Heat butter and olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat until the butter is foaming.
  2. 2Add minced garlic and red pepper flakes, sauté for 30 seconds until fragrant.
  3. 3Add shrimp to the skillet and cook for 2 minutes on each side until they start to turn pink.
  4. 4Pour in white wine and lemon juice, stirring to combine with the pan drippings.
  5. 5Season with salt and pepper, and continue cooking for 2-3 minutes until shrimp are fully cooked and opaque.
  6. 6Remove from heat, garnish with fresh parsley, and serve immediately with crusty bread.
