Ingredients

  • 2 cups rolled oats
  • 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 3/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1/4 cup water

Directions

  1. 1Mix rolled oats, flour, brown sugar, baking soda, and salt.
  2. 2Stir in melted butter and enough water to form a firm dough.
  3. 3Roll the dough between parchment sheets to 1/4 inch thick.
  4. 4Cut into rectangles and transfer to a lined baking sheet.
  5. 5Bake at 350°F (175°C) for 18–20 minutes until the edges are golden.
  6. 6Cool completely before packing or storing.
