Ingredients

  • 2 lbs flank or skirt steak
  • 1/2 cup fresh lime juice
  • 1/2 cup fresh orange juice
  • 1/4 cup olive oil
  • 6 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/4 cup fresh cilantro, chopped
  • 1 tbsp cumin
  • 1 tsp chili powder
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper

Directions

  1. 1Combine lime juice, orange juice, olive oil, garlic, cilantro, cumin, chili powder, salt, and pepper in a bowl to make the marinade.
  2. 2Place the flank steak in a large zip-lock bag or shallow dish and pour the marinade over it, ensuring it's fully covered.
  3. 3Refrigerate for at least 6 hours or overnight for best flavor.
  4. 4Remove the steak from the refrigerator 30 minutes before grilling to bring it to room temperature.
  5. 5Heat your grill to high heat and oil the grates to prevent sticking.
  6. 6Grill the marinated steak for 5-7 minutes per side for medium-rare, depending on thickness.
  7. 7Let the meat rest for 5 minutes, then slice against the grain and serve with warm tortillas, lime wedges, and your favorite toppings.
