Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 lb cremini mushrooms, quartered
  • 2 tbsp unsalted butter
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/4 cup fresh parsley, chopped
  • 3/4 tsp salt

Directions

  1. 1Heat a wide skillet over medium-high heat.
  2. 2Melt the butter and add the mushrooms in a single layer.
  3. 3Cook for 6 minutes until deeply browned, tossing once.
  4. 4Add garlic and salt and cook for 1 minute.
  5. 5Fold in parsley.
  6. 6Serve immediately.

💡 Do not salt the mushrooms until they are browned; early salt draws out water and slows caramelization.
