Cherry Clafoutis

Ingredients
- •1 cup whole milk
- •3/4 cup all-purpose flour
- •3 eggs
- •1/4 cup granulated sugar
- •1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- •1/4 teaspoon salt
- •2 tablespoons melted butter
- •2 cups fresh or canned pitted cherries
- •1 tablespoon powdered sugar
Directions
- 1Preheat oven to 375°F and butter a 9-inch round baking dish.
- 2Blend milk, flour, eggs, sugar, vanilla extract, and salt in a blender until smooth, about 1 minute.
- 3Pour half the batter into the prepared dish and bake for 5 minutes.
- 4Scatter cherries over the partially baked batter and pour remaining batter over top.
- 5Bake for 25-30 minutes until golden brown and a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
- 6Cool for 10 minutes, dust with powdered sugar, and serve warm or at room temperature.
