⏱ 25 minServes 4Italian
Ingredients
- •4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- •1/2 cup all-purpose flour
- •1 teaspoon salt
- •1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- •3 tablespoons olive oil
- •8 ounces mushrooms, sliced
- •3/4 cup Marsala wine
- •1/2 cup chicken broth
- •2 tablespoons butter
- •2 cloves garlic, minced
- •1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped
Directions
- 1Pound chicken breasts to 1/4-inch thickness. Mix flour, salt, and pepper in a shallow dish, then coat chicken on both sides.
- 2Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Sear chicken for 4-5 minutes per side until golden brown. Remove and set aside.
- 3In the same skillet, sauté sliced mushrooms and minced garlic for 3-4 minutes until softened.
- 4Deglaze the pan with Marsala wine, scraping up any browned bits. Simmer for 2 minutes.
- 5Add chicken broth and return chicken to the skillet. Simmer for 5-7 minutes until sauce thickens slightly.
- 6Stir in butter until melted and fully incorporated. Garnish with fresh parsley and serve immediately.
