Chili Cheese Fries

Ingredients
- •2 lbs russet potatoes
- •2 tablespoons vegetable oil
- •1 lb ground beef
- •1 medium onion, diced
- •2 cans (15 oz each) kidney beans, drained
- •2 cans (15 oz each) tomato sauce
- •2 tablespoons chili powder
- •1 teaspoon cumin
- •1 teaspoon salt
- •2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
- •2 tablespoons sour cream
Directions
- 1Cut potatoes into fries, soak in cold water for 15 minutes, pat dry, and fry in 350°F oil until golden (about 15 minutes), then season with salt.
- 2Brown ground beef with diced onion in a large pot over medium-high heat, breaking it into small pieces.
- 3Add kidney beans, tomato sauce, chili powder, cumin, and salt to the pot, stir well, and simmer for 10 minutes until thickened.
- 4Place hot fries on a plate or platter, pour chili over the top, and sprinkle generously with shredded cheddar cheese.
- 5Top with sour cream and serve immediately while hot.
