- •1/4 teaspoon salt
- •1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- •2 cups heavy whipping cream
- •3 tablespoons powdered sugar
Directions
- 1Mix graham cracker crumbs, melted butter, and 3 tablespoons sugar together, then press into a 9-inch pie dish. Bake at 350°F for 8 minutes, then cool completely.
- 2In a saucepan, whisk together cocoa powder, cornstarch, 4 tablespoons sugar, and salt. Gradually add milk while stirring until smooth.
- 3Heat the mixture over medium heat, stirring constantly until it thickens and begins to boil, about 8-10 minutes. Remove from heat and stir in chopped chocolate and vanilla extract until fully melted and combined.
- 4Pour the chocolate filling into the cooled crust and refrigerate for at least 2 hours until set.
- 5Whip heavy cream with powdered sugar until stiff peaks form. Spread or pipe whipped cream over the chilled pie just before serving.
