Chocolate Donuts

Ingredients

- •1/2 cup granulated sugar
- •2 tablespoons unsweetened cocoa powder
- •2 teaspoons baking powder
- •1/2 teaspoon salt
- •1 large egg
- •1/2 cup whole milk
- •2 tablespoons vegetable oil
- •1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- •1 cup powdered sugar
- •3 tablespoons cocoa powder
- •3 tablespoons milk
Directions
- 1Preheat oven to 350°F and grease a donut pan with non-stick spray.
- 2Mix 2 cups flour, 1/2 cup sugar, 2 tablespoons cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt in a bowl.
- 3In another bowl, whisk together egg, 1/2 cup milk, oil, and vanilla extract.
- 4Combine wet and dry ingredients until just mixed, then transfer batter to a piping bag.
- 5Pipe batter into prepared donut pan and bake for 8-10 minutes until a toothpick comes out clean.
- 6Cool donuts for 5 minutes in pan, then transfer to a wire rack.
- 7Whisk together 1 cup powdered sugar, 3 tablespoons cocoa powder, and 3 tablespoons milk to make glaze.
- 8Dip cooled donuts into chocolate glaze and let set for 10 minutes before serving.
