Chocolate Terrine
A silky, elegant no-bake dessert with layers of rich dark and milk chocolate that melts on your tongue.

Ingredients
- •200g dark chocolate, chopped
- •200g milk chocolate, chopped
- •300ml heavy cream
- •100ml whole milk
- •4 egg yolks
- •50g butter
- •1 tablespoon vanilla extract
- •2 tablespoons cocoa powder
- •1 pinch sea salt
Directions
- 1Line a terrine mold or loaf pan with plastic wrap and chill in the refrigerator.
- 2Heat 150ml cream and milk until steaming, then pour over dark chocolate and let sit 2 minutes before stirring until smooth.
- 3Whisk egg yolks with remaining cream until pale, then fold into the dark chocolate mixture with vanilla and salt.
- 4Pour dark chocolate layer into prepared mold and refrigerate for 1 hour until set.
- 5Repeat the heating and melting process with milk chocolate and remaining butter, then fold in the whipped cream.
- 6Pour milk chocolate layer over the set dark layer and refrigerate for at least 4 hours or overnight.
- 7Unmold the terrine onto a serving plate, dust with cocoa powder, and slice with a hot knife between cuts.
