Chow Mein

Ingredients

  • 8 oz chow mein noodles or spaghetti
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 8 oz chicken breast, thinly sliced
  • 1 cup shredded cabbage
  • 1 cup sliced bell peppers
  • 1 cup shredded carrots
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 3 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon oyster sauce
  • 1 teaspoon sesame oil
  • 2 green onions sliced

Directions

  1. 1Cook noodles according to package directions, drain and set aside.
  2. 2Heat oil in a large wok or skillet over high heat and stir-fry chicken until cooked through, about 5 minutes.
  3. 3Add garlic, cabbage, bell peppers, and carrots; stir-fry for 3-4 minutes until vegetables are tender-crisp.
  4. 4Add cooked noodles to the pan with soy sauce, oyster sauce, and sesame oil; toss everything together for 2 minutes.
  5. 5Top with green onions and serve hot.
