Ingredients
- •2 cups all-purpose flour
- •1/4 cup granulated sugar
- •2 teaspoons baking powder
- •1/2 teaspoon salt
- •6 tablespoons cold butter, cubed
- •3/4 cup whole milk
- •2 tablespoons cinnamon
- •3 tablespoons brown sugar
- •1 cup powdered sugar
- •2 tablespoons milk for glaze
Directions
- 1Preheat oven to 400°F. Mix flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt in a bowl.
- 2Cut in cold butter until mixture resembles coarse crumbs, then stir in milk until a soft dough forms.
- 3Roll dough into a 1/2-inch thick rectangle, sprinkle with cinnamon and brown sugar, then roll up and cut into 8 wedges.
- 4Place scones on a greased baking sheet and bake for 12-15 minutes until golden brown.
- 5Whisk powdered sugar with 2 tablespoons milk to make glaze and drizzle over warm scones.
