Ingredients

  • 1 pound pizza dough
  • 1 cup ricotta cheese
  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 6 ounces pepperoni slices
  • 1 cup fresh spinach, chopped
  • 1 egg
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt

Directions

  1. 1Preheat oven to 400°F. Mix ricotta, mozzarella, Parmesan, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper in a bowl. Fold in pepperoni and spinach.

  4. 4Place calzones on a greased baking sheet. Beat the egg and brush over the tops of each calzone.
  5. 5Bake for 20-25 minutes until golden brown and puffed. Cool for 5 minutes before serving.
