- •2 cups whole milk
- •4 large eggs
- •1/2 cup granulated sugar
- •2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
- •1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- •1/4 teaspoon salt
- •1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg
Directions
- 1Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
- 2In a blender, combine eggs, milk, sugar, flour, vanilla extract, and salt. Blend until smooth, about 1 minute.
- 3Pour the custard mixture into the unbaked pie crust and sprinkle nutmeg evenly over the top.
- 4Bake for 40-50 minutes, until a knife inserted near the center comes out clean and the top is lightly golden.
- 5Cool on a wire rack for at least 30 minutes before serving. Refrigerate until ready to eat.
