Ingredients

  • 1 unbaked 9-inch pie crust
  • 2 cups whole milk
  • 4 large eggs
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg

Directions

  1. 1Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. 2In a blender, combine eggs, milk, sugar, flour, vanilla extract, and salt. Blend until smooth, about 1 minute.
  3. 3Pour the custard mixture into the unbaked pie crust and sprinkle nutmeg evenly over the top.
  4. 4Bake for 40-50 minutes, until a knife inserted near the center comes out clean and the top is lightly golden.
  5. 5Cool on a wire rack for at least 30 minutes before serving. Refrigerate until ready to eat.
