Ingredients

  • 1 9-inch pie crust (thawed if frozen)
  • 8 slices bacon
  • 1 cup shredded Gruyère cheese
  • 4 large eggs
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup whole milk
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg

Directions

  1. 1Preheat oven to 375°F. Place pie crust in a 9-inch quiche dish.
  2. 2Cook bacon in a skillet until crispy, then crumble into small pieces.
  3. 3Whisk together eggs, cream, milk, salt, pepper, and nutmeg in a bowl until smooth.
