Classic Meatballs and Spaghetti

Ingredients

- •1/2 cup breadcrumbs
- •1 egg
- •1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- •2 cloves garlic, minced
- •1 teaspoon salt
- •1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- •24 ounces marinara sauce
- •1 pound spaghetti
- •2 tablespoons olive oil
Directions
- 1Combine ground beef, breadcrumbs, egg, Parmesan cheese, garlic, salt, and pepper in a bowl; mix until just combined.
- 2Roll mixture into 16-20 meatballs about 1.5 inches in diameter.
- 3Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat and brown meatballs on all sides for 5-7 minutes.
- 4Pour marinara sauce over meatballs, reduce heat to low, and simmer for 15-20 minutes.
- 5While meatballs cook, bring a large pot of salted water to a boil and cook spaghetti according to package directions; drain well.
- 6Divide spaghetti among serving plates and top with meatballs and sauce.
