Crispy Banana Chips

Ingredients
- •4 firm green bananas
- •2 cups vegetable oil for frying
- •1 teaspoon salt
- •1/2 teaspoon paprika
- •1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper
- •1 tablespoon lime juice
Directions
- 1Peel the green bananas and slice them into thin rounds using a mandoline or sharp knife, approximately 1/8 inch thick.
- 2Heat the vegetable oil in a deep skillet to 350°F (175°C).
- 3Working in batches, carefully place banana slices into the hot oil and fry for 2-3 minutes until golden and crispy, stirring occasionally.
- 4Remove chips with a slotted spoon and drain on paper towels.
- 5While still warm, toss the chips with salt, paprika, and cayenne pepper, then drizzle lightly with lime juice and toss again.
- 6Allow to cool completely before serving, as they will continue to crisp up.
