Deviled Eggs

Ingredients

  • 6 large eggs
  • 3 tablespoons mayonnaise
  • 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
  • 1/2 teaspoon white vinegar
  • 1/4 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/8 teaspoon black pepper
  • pinch cayenne pepper

Directions

  1. 1Place eggs in a pot, cover with cold water, and bring to a boil. Remove from heat, cover, and let sit 10 minutes.
  2. 2Transfer eggs to an ice bath and let cool completely, then peel and halve them lengthwise.
  3. 3Scoop yolks into a bowl and mash with a fork until smooth.
  4. 4Mix mashed yolks with mayonnaise, mustard, vinegar, paprika, salt, pepper, and cayenne until creamy.
  5. 5Spoon or pipe the filling into each egg white half.
  6. 6Dust with additional paprika and serve chilled or at room temperature.
