Drunken Noodles

Ingredients
- •8 oz dried rice noodles
- •2 tablespoons vegetable oil
- •4 cloves garlic, minced
- •2-3 red Thai chilies, sliced
- •8 oz chicken or shrimp, sliced
- •1 red bell pepper, sliced red bell pepper
- •3 tablespoons soy sauce
- •1 tablespoon fish sauce
- •1 tablespoon brown sugar
- •1/2 cup fresh basil leaves
- •2 green onions, chopped
Directions
- 1Cook rice noodles according to package directions, drain and set aside.
- 2Heat oil in a wok or large skillet over high heat and stir-fry garlic and chilies for 30 seconds until fragrant.
- 3Add chicken or shrimp and cook until nearly done, about 2-3 minutes.
- 4Add bell pepper and stir-fry for 1 minute.
- 5Add cooked noodles to the wok with soy sauce, fish sauce, and brown sugar, tossing continuously for 2 minutes.
- 6Remove from heat and fold in fresh basil and green onions.
- 7Serve immediately on plates.
