Dulce de Leche Bars

Ingredients
- •2 cups all-purpose flour
- •1 cup butter, softened
- •3/4 cup granulated sugar
- •1 large egg yolk
- •1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- •1/2 teaspoon salt
- •1 can (14 ounces) sweetened condensed milk
- •1/2 cup brown sugar
- •1/2 cup old-fashioned oats
- •1/4 cup melted butter
Directions
- 1Preheat oven to 350°F and line a 9x13 inch baking pan with parchment paper.
- 2Mix 2 cups flour, 1 cup softened butter, 3/4 cup sugar, egg yolk, vanilla, and salt until combined, then press firmly into the prepared pan.
- 3Bake the crust for 12-15 minutes until light golden, then remove and let cool slightly.
- 4Spread dulce de leche evenly over the cooled crust.
- 5Combine brown sugar, oats, and melted butter, then sprinkle over the dulce de leche layer.
- 6Bake for 15-18 minutes until the topping is golden brown.
- 7Cool completely in the pan, then cut into 16 bars and serve.
