Dutch Baby Pancake

Ingredients
- •1/2 cup all-purpose flour
- •1/2 cup whole milk
- •2 large eggs
- •1/4 teaspoon salt
- •1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
- •4 tablespoons butter
- •1 tablespoon granulated sugar
- •1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon
Directions
- 1Preheat oven to 425°F (220°C) and place a 10-inch cast iron skillet inside to heat for 5 minutes.
- 2Blend flour, milk, eggs, salt, and vanilla extract until smooth batter forms.
- 3Carefully remove hot skillet, add butter and let it melt and coat the bottom and sides.
- 4Pour batter into the hot buttered skillet and return immediately to the oven.
- 5Bake for 15-20 minutes until the pancake puffs dramatically and edges turn golden brown.
- 6Remove from oven and sprinkle with cinnamon sugar mixture.
- 7Serve immediately while puffed, with your choice of toppings such as lemon juice, powdered sugar, fresh berries, or maple syrup.
